How we research

Every article starts from primary sources. For insurance, finance, and regulatory topics we cite official documents, regulator guidance, and the relevant product or policy documentation directly, rather than repeating what other websites claim. Where we use data or statistics, we link to the original source and note the date.

How we write

Articles are written by named members of our team who work in the relevant area. We write in clear South African English, avoid jargon where plain language works, and flag anything that is opinion rather than fact. We do not publish anonymous content.

How we review and fact-check

Before an article is published it goes through two checks. A reviewer confirms the strategy, structure, and brand fit. A fact-checker traces every factual claim and figure back to its source and flags anything that cannot be supported. An article is only published once both checks are signed off, and the responsible people are named on the article.

Author

Researches and writes the article. Lead author for search and strategy content: Cobus van der Westhuizen, CEO.

Reviewer

Reviews for accuracy, strategy, and brand fit before publication: Wynand van der Westhuizen, Account Manager.

Fact-checker

Verifies every claim against primary sources: Lenata Oosthuizen, Content Editor.

How we keep content current

We review evergreen articles on a regular cycle and update them when facts, prices, regulations, or best practice change. Every article shows a visible "last updated" date, and that date reflects a real review, not a cosmetic edit.

How we handle corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers can report an error by emailing hello@juicydesigns.co.za. We correct confirmed errors promptly and, where the change is material, note that the article was updated.

Advertising and independence

We are a digital marketing agency. Where an article relates to our own services or a client, we say so. Editorial judgements about accuracy are not influenced by commercial relationships.
