Branding Agency Pretoria
Branding built for the CAPITAL
Pretoria is our home city, and our head office sits at 14 Gordon Verster Road. That matters, because the capital's professional firms, medical practices, education providers and government-adjacent businesses are judged on how credible and settled they look long before anyone reads the copy. We build brand identity from positioning outward so your firm reads as the established choice in its field. On-site meetings welcome across Tshwane. Logos from R5,000. Full brand identity from R25,000.
Juicy Designs is a brand identity agency headquartered in Pretoria, South Africa, building logos and brand systems for the capital's firms since 2015. A brand identity is more than a logo. It is the colour palette, typography, iconography, photography direction and the guidelines document that keep those parts working together on a boardroom deck, a tender submission, practice signage and a website. In Pretoria that consistency does real work: professional, medical and public-sector-facing organisations are trusted partly on how correct and permanent they look, and a logo left to drift soon undoes that.
Because Pretoria is our home base, we start every project by understanding the setting: whether you serve government departments, sit near the embassy district, feed off the universities in Hatfield, or run a practice in Brooklyn, Centurion or Pretoria East. Then we set positioning, design the visual system, and roll it out. Logo design from R5,000. Full brand identity system from R25,000. Brand strategy plus full identity from R65,000. The work is led from our Pretoria office by co-founder and Creative Director Wynand van der Westhuizen, a Meta Business Partner, and the Juicy Designs team.

Juicy Designs absolutely brought my vision to life! They helped me with my branding, graphic design, and especially my packaging, which I absolutely love. Every detail feels beautiful, professional, and true to my brand. Seeing the final packaging for the first time was such a special moment. The team really understood what I wanted and turned it into something even better than I imagined. I couldn't be happier with the result!
Branding, design and packaging outcomes are judged on the work rather than on a traffic number, so no metric is claimed here. Client since September 2019. Published with written permission, August 2026.

Three phases. Led from our Pretoria office.
Where your brand begins
Positioning, then the visual identity, then rollout. In the capital, where credibility is the currency, all three matter. We run them from one place, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
Positioning first
Before a single mark is drawn we map where you sit: who you serve, which Pretoria rivals you are measured against, and the reputation you need to project to win the work. That means a competitor read, an audience profile, a positioning statement, a value proposition, a messaging hierarchy and tone of voice.
For a firm bidding on public-sector work, a specialist medical practice or a consultancy in Menlyn, this is what separates being shortlisted from being overlooked.
Positioning is part of our Brand Strategy + Identity package from R65,000, or can be booked on its own if you already have designers in-house.
Explore Brand StrategyThe visual system
This is your brand made visible: the logo and its variants, a colour palette specified in HEX, RGB, CMYK and Pantone, and a typography system for display, body and accent. It also sets iconography, photography and illustration direction, and the graphic elements that tie it all together.
Nothing here is decoration. Each choice is tuned to how your audience reads credibility, whether that is a diplomatic-sector client, a hospital referral network or a professional board. Full brand identity from R25,000.
Explore Visual IdentityRollout across every touchpoint
A guidelines PDF that sits in a drawer is not a brand. Rollout is where the identity reaches the real world.
We produce the working assets: letterheads and tender-ready document templates, business cards, email signatures, practice and office signage, presentation decks, social templates, packaging and vehicle branding.
For Pretoria firms that are launching or rebranding, we keep everything consistent from reception at your Centurion or Brooklyn office to the last slide of a pitch. Rollout is scoped per project.

Six ways we can help
From a single logo to a complete rebrand, every job runs through the same team in the capital. No outsourcing, no handoffs.
Logo Design
A considered logo for your Pretoria firm. You get three distinct first concepts, each with the reasoning for why that direction fits your sector and audience, then two rounds of refinement on the one you choose.
Delivery covers SVG, EPS, PNG (transparent), PDF and JPEG in full colour, reversed and black-and-white, so your web developer, printer, tender office and social team all have exactly what they need.
No Canva templates, no offshoring. Every mark is drawn here in Pretoria by our Creative Director. Logo design from R5,000 see full pricing.
Learn moreBrand Identity System
The full system that turns a logo into a brand people trust on sight. It covers the primary logo and all variants (horizontal, stacked, icon-only), the colour palette (primary, secondary and neutral tones in HEX, RGB, CMYK, Pantone), the typography system (display, body and accent), iconography, a photography direction brief, the graphic element set, and clear do-and-don’t examples.
It ships as a designed brand guidelines PDF your team and any future supplier can follow. This is the usual choice for Pretoria firms launching, rebranding or tightening up an identity that has drifted across too many hands. From R25,000 see full pricing.
Learn moreBrand Strategy & Positioning
Strategic work for Pretoria firms that need more than a fresh logo. In a market where clients often come by referral and reputation, you need a clear reason to be chosen over the firm across the road.
The process runs stakeholder interviews, a Pretoria competitor audit and persona work, then a positioning statement (what you do, for whom and why it matters), a value proposition workshop, a messaging hierarchy for your website, pitches and tenders, and tone of voice guidelines.
You get a brand strategy document that steers every design and marketing decision after it. Included in the R65,000+ Brand Strategy + Identity package see full pricing.
Learn moreBrand Guidelines
The master reference for everyone who touches your brand: your marketing team, outside agencies, freelancers, printers and web developers. In larger Pretoria organisations with several departments, it is what stops the brand fragmenting the moment more than one person is using it.
We produce guidelines as a designed PDF, usually 30 to 60 pages for a full identity. It sets logo usage and clear space, colour specifications, typography hierarchy and pairings, photography direction, graphic element usage, social profile setup, and worked examples across cards, email and digital.
Guidelines are included in full identity and strategy packages, or standalone from R8,500 see full pricing.
Learn moreRebranding
Rebranding an established Pretoria firm is a balancing act. Many capital businesses carry decades of standing, so throwing everything out risks confusing loyal clients in Hatfield, Brooklyn or Waterkloof who know you by sight.
We start with a brand equity audit to decide what is worth keeping, what needs to change and what should be retired, then run the full process from strategy through new identity to a coordinated, phased rollout.
Every rebrand is scoped to your size, asset inventory and rollout complexity. Most Pretoria rebrands range from R25,000 to R85,000+ see full pricing.
Learn morePackaging Design
Product packaging for Pretoria manufacturers, food and beverage producers, cosmetics brands and retailers who need shelf-ready and e-commerce packaging that holds its own.
We design packaging in context, accounting for the retail shelf, print specifications, and the rules you must meet (ingredient lists, nutritional information, barcode placement) alongside your format. We work with print suppliers and structural packaging engineers so artwork is print-ready and straightforward to produce.
You receive print-ready artwork in every format your supplier needs. Packaging design from R6,500 per SKU see full pricing.
Learn moreHow we work
From brief to launch
Five clear phases, built around the way Pretoria firms actually approve work, often a partner group or board signing off together.
-
Discovery & Brief
Brand audit if it is a rebrand, stakeholder interviews, a Pretoria competitor read, audience profiling and a positioning review. We sign off a full brief before any design begins, so the whole approval group is aligned from day one.
Week 1 -
Concept Design
Three genuinely different logo directions, each with the thinking behind it, not three versions of one idea. Each arrives with a mood board and colour and type direction so your team can judge the whole feel, not just the mark.
Week 2-3 -
Refinement
Your chosen direction refined over two feedback rounds. Palette finalised, typography set, brand elements extended. We test the identity on the things it will actually live on, from a tender cover to practice signage to a website header, then produce the guidelines document.
Week 3-5 -
Delivery & Handover
Full handover: SVG, EPS, PNG, PDF and JPEG across every variant and colour mode, the guidelines PDF, source files on request, and an asset library sorted by use. We can run the walkthrough in person at our Pretoria office or at yours, so the whole team can apply the brand correctly.
Week 5-6 -
Measure & evolve
We check in at 30, 60 and 90 days once the brand is live. If the capital market responds differently to what we planned, we adjust, so the identity keeps working as your firm grows and takes on new work.
What makes us different
Why the capital picks Juicy Designs for branding
Our home city since 2015. Positioning first. Designed in our Pretoria office. Every file yours outright.
Positioning before pixels
Plenty of studios open a blank canvas and start drawing. We open with a competitor read and a brief.
We establish where you sit in the Tshwane market first, whether you are a professional services firm in Waterkloof, a specialist practice near a Pretoria East hospital, or a consultancy in Menlyn that bids for public-sector work.
That is why the brands hold up. They are built to set you apart, not just to look tidy. Positioning is where every project starts.
Your agency is in your city
Pretoria is our head office, at 14 Gordon Verster Road, 0184. Every brand is designed here by our Creative Director and senior team, not sent elsewhere.
We do not offshore branding to cheaper markets, crowdsource on logo mills, or lean on AI generation instead of craft.
Because we are local, you can sit across a table from the people doing the work. In a relationship-driven market that face-to-face time gets sign-off faster and builds the trust the capital runs on.
You own everything outright
Every logo and asset becomes your intellectual property on final payment. No licensing terms, no usage caps, no subscription to reach your own files.
You get the source files too (editable Illustrator or Figma on request), not just exports. That matters when a Pretoria firm has to pass artwork to a tender office, an in-house team or a print supplier at short notice. Some studios keep the rights or charge for access. We don’t. Your brand is yours. Completely.
If the logo itself is the whole job rather than a full identity system, our logo design in Pretoria page covers concepts, revision rounds, file formats and ownership on their own.
Frequently asked questions
Got questions?
Straight answers about branding for Pretoria firms, from a studio in the capital. No jargon.
How much does branding cost for a Pretoria business?
A standalone logo starts from R5,000, covering three first concepts, two rounds of changes and full file delivery. A full brand identity system (logo, colour palette, typography and brand guidelines) starts from R25,000. Brand strategy plus full identity starts from R65,000.
Pretoria buyers in professional services, medical and education tend to compare on credibility rather than the lowest price, so we do not run cut-price logo deals. Proper positioning, design rounds and file delivery take real time, and the price reflects that.
Why does Juicy Designs work out positioning before drawing a logo?
Pretoria is a relationship-driven, established market. A law firm in Brooklyn, a specialist practice near a Pretoria East hospital and a consultancy in Menlyn are all judged on how trustworthy and settled they look before anyone reads a word.
We work out who you serve, what separates you from the firm two doors down, and the feeling your brand should own, then design the mark to carry that. A polished logo built on vague positioning still leaves you looking interchangeable with everyone else in the sector.
Do you understand Pretoria's professional and public-sector-facing brands?
Yes. As Pretoria's home agency we regularly brand firms that sell into government departments, work near the embassy and diplomatic community, serve the universities, or run professional and medical practices across Brooklyn, Hatfield, Centurion and Pretoria East.
These audiences reward brands that read as credible, permanent and correct rather than loud or trendy. We design identities that hold up in a boardroom, on a tender document and on practice signage, not just on social media.
How long does a full brand identity take?
A standalone logo runs 2 to 3 weeks from brief to final files. A full brand identity system runs 4 to 6 weeks. A brand strategy plus identity project runs 8 to 12 weeks.
The biggest variable is decision speed on your side, which matters in Pretoria firms where a partner group, practice principals or a board often sign off together. We work to milestone approvals so a slow week does not derail the whole schedule, and so nobody is surprised at handover.
Can you rebrand an established Pretoria firm without losing recognition?
Yes, and it is one of our most common briefs in the capital, where many firms have decades of standing to protect. We run a brand equity audit first to decide what long-standing clients in Waterkloof, Brooklyn or Centurion still recognise you by, what is holding you back, and what should be retired.
Then we move through strategy, a new identity and a phased rollout so the change reads as a considered step up rather than a company that has been sold or started over. Most Pretoria rebrands range from R25,000 to R85,000+ depending on size and asset count.
What files and ownership do I get?
Logo packages arrive as SVG, EPS, PNG (transparent), PDF and JPEG, in full colour, reversed and black-and-white, across every logo variant. Brand identity packages add colour specifications (HEX, RGB, CMYK, Pantone), typography files and a usage guide, a brand guidelines PDF, and social media profile and cover templates. Editable Adobe Illustrator or Figma source files are available on request.
Everything becomes your intellectual property on final payment, with no licensing limits, which matters when a Pretoria firm needs to hand assets to a tender office, a printer or its own in-house team.
Do you meet Pretoria clients in person?
Yes. Pretoria is our home city and our head office at 14 Gordon Verster Road, so on-site kickoff meetings, brand workshops and handover walkthroughs are welcome across Tshwane, from Centurion to Hatfield to Pretoria East. In a relationship-driven market that face-to-face time speeds up sign-off and builds trust.
Which Pretoria sectors do you brand most often?
Professional services, medical and healthcare practices, education and training providers, and firms that deal with government and the public sector are the briefs we see most in Pretoria. We also brand retail and hospitality, but the capital's strength is credible, established organisations, and that is where our strategy-first approach earns its keep.
