Google Ads Audit
GOOGLE ADS AUDIT
Most underperforming accounts share the same handful of faults: broken tracking, unfiltered search terms, and ads landing on the homepage. We find them, quantify them, and tell you what to do. Free, no obligation.
Juicy Designs provides a free Google Ads account audit for South African businesses, covering conversion tracking, wasted spend in the search terms report, campaign structure, landing page alignment, bidding and geographic targeting. The point of an audit is to establish what is actually happening before anyone proposes work. In most accounts we review, the same faults recur: conversion tracking that has silently broken so every report has been measuring nothing, a search terms report full of queries that could never convert, ads pointing at the homepage rather than the relevant service page, and the Display Network left switched on inside a Search campaign. Each of those is quantifiable, so the audit produces a figure for how much is being wasted and what fixing it would change. We report findings whether or not they lead to an engagement, including when the honest conclusion is that the account is fine and the problem is the landing page or the offer. The audit is free and carries no obligation.
What's included
What the audit actually checks
A structured review of the things that most often cost South African advertisers money.
Conversion tracking
We verify tracking works by testing it, not by looking at settings. Broken tracking is the single most common finding, and it means every report you have received measured nothing.
Wasted spend in search terms
We read the search terms report and quantify what went to queries that could never convert: job seekers, DIY searches, training, wrong products, areas you do not serve.
Campaign structure
Whether ad groups are tight enough to write relevant ads, whether match types suit your budget, and whether the Display Network is quietly draining a Search campaign.
Landing page alignment
Where each ad group sends its traffic, and whether that page answers the search. Ads pointing at the homepage are the most expensive default in small business advertising.
Bidding and budget
Whether your bidding strategy suits your conversion volume, whether budget sits where conversions happen, and whether impression share is limited by budget or by rank.
Geography and schedule
Whether targeting matches where you actually sell profitably, and whether the presence setting is quietly widening your reach beyond it.

What makes us different
Why South African advertisers choose Juicy Designs
Strategy-led marketing. No fluff. Real leads, real revenue, real reporting.
We report findings, not a sales pitch
If the account is well built and the problem is your landing page or your offer, we say that. An audit that always concludes you need our management is not an audit.
Founder-led delivery
Cobus and Wynand lead your strategy directly. You get senior marketers who have run this since 2015, not a junior working from a template.
Month-to-month, no lock-in
No long-term contracts. We keep your business by producing results you can see in the reporting, not by holding you to a twelve-month term.
Frequently asked questions
Got questions?
Straight answers about google ads audit in South Africa. No jargon, no runaround.
Is the Google Ads audit really free?
Yes, and there is no obligation. We review the account, report what we find and tell you what we would change. If you want us to implement it, management starts from R6,000 per month, month-to-month. If you would rather take the findings and do it yourself, that is a legitimate outcome and we will not chase you.
What access do you need?
Read-only access to your Google Ads account is enough for the audit itself, which you grant by adding our manager account ID. We also ask for read access to Google Analytics if you have it, because a large share of Google Ads problems are actually landing page problems and we cannot see those from the ads side alone.
How long does the audit take?
Two to four working days for a standard small business account. Larger accounts with many campaigns take longer. You get a written summary of findings ranked by how much each is costing you, not a tool export with four hundred generic warnings.
What do you usually find?
Four things recur. Conversion tracking broken or never set up. Search terms full of queries that could never convert. Ads pointing at the homepage instead of the relevant service page. And the Display Network left enabled inside a Search campaign, which is on by default and quietly spends Search budget on lower-converting placements.
Will you tell me if I should stop advertising?
Yes. Some businesses are spending on Google Ads when the budget would do more elsewhere, or when a landing page converting under 1% makes every click uneconomic. We would rather say so than take a management fee for running a campaign that cannot work.
